Boris Aldridge: Reflections

Step into the dreamlike world of Boris Aldridge with Reflections, an exhibition of contemporary ceramics opening 11 October.

Boris Aldridge is a contemporary British ceramicist who has been making tiles in his Suffolk studio for almost 25 years. Following the success of Aurum (Mohtashemi, 2019), we are proud to present Reflections, the second major Boris Aldridge solo exhibition.

Like the greats of the Arts and Crafts movement, Aldridge takes inspiration from lustreware of the Medieval Islamic world, combining traditional techniques with his own unique treatment of colour and pattern to create dreamlike visions of the natural world.

Tiles by Boris Aldridge have been exhibited at the Royal Academy, London, and acquired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and the Brown Collection in London.
